The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed with regard to the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme status sassa [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and status sassa there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The service issue designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the sassa status agency said.
